Since its inception, the DEF Network has been committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and expanding the scope of possibilities in fire safety. Each company in the Network innovates to meet the needs of its clients, regardless of their project, whether simple or complex. Our individual and collective goal is to always save more lives.
We were pioneers in fire detection in France in 1958. Every day, more than 130 engineers and technicians, spread across 14 teams in France and abroad, invent new products and systems each year, while complying with demanding and constantly evolving standards and regulations.
Our goal is to deliver useful innovation, innovation that facilitates both the installation of our solutions and their maintenance, operation, and performance. Our innovative strength even allows us to develop fire safety solutions on demand, to meet specific or emerging needs, as was the case with the Channel Tunnel fire detection system.
Proud of our French expertise and a staunch supporter of the “Made in France” label, at Réseau DEF, we manufacture and distribute our own fire safety system (FSS) solutions in our own production facilities located in France and Europe.
Réseau DEF has 13 industrial sites: production plants, reconditioning facilities, and logistics centers, more than half of which are located in France.
Drawing on our expertise and experience in the field of fire safety, members of the DEF Network actively participate in French and European working groups aimed at developing standards. We are also very active within professional federations.
By manufacturing our own solutions, we guarantee the quality and delivery of our products and systems.
Manufactured in our own factories, we have complete control over the quality process for our products and systems. Our requirements include, of course, regulatory compliance, but also performance, robustness, ergonomics, scalability, and durability.
Completely independent, we are protected from the uncertainties of other manufacturers. This gives us complete control over the production chain and equipment availability. Our own logistics centers ensure rapid delivery of our products.
As a manufacturer, we can customize certain products for specific needs of our customers, such as providing detectors in a requested color.
